The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced measures yesterday afternoon to ban the import of new humanoid and quadruped robots made in China.
The Chinese Embassy in Washington stated that the Chinese government "urges the United States to listen to the objective and rational voices of the business communities of both countries" and "stop discrediting Chinese companies and threatening them with sanctions."
The embassy stated that the Chinese government will "take all necessary measures against any actions that cause substantial damage to China's interests."
According to four other sources, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is expected to follow suit, similar to its previous bans on foreign drones and routers.Restrictions on many non-Chinese suppliers.
These measures shall take effect immediately upon publication.This applies only to robot models that have not yet been officially released.However, the FCC has the right to revoke authorization for products that have already been granted a sales license.
