BridgingChina helps global investors, founders, and business leaders understand China's innovation ecosystem through industry intelligence, tech immersion, cross-border partnerships, and China Tech Tours. This policy explains what we collect when you use bridgingchina.ai, and how you can reach us about it.

Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use the site.

• Enquiries. The contact form asks for your name, work email, organization, country or region, the type of collaboration you are interested in, and an optional message. We email that enquiry to monica@agivilla.com and use your email address so we can reply to you.
• China Tech Tour applications. If you apply for a tour, we collect your name, company, title, email, WhatsApp number, and LinkedIn profile when you provide them, along with the tour you selected. We use this to review the application and follow up.
• Payments. Tour checkout is handled by our payment provider. We receive payment status and related booking details. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
• Accounts. If you create an account, we store the name, email address, and sign-in details needed to keep you logged in and manage your profile.
• Newsletter. The newsletter link takes you to LinkedIn. Subscription and reading data for that newsletter are handled by LinkedIn under its own policy.
• Site use. We collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referral source, and diagnostic logs. In production we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.

How we use information

We use this information to reply to enquiries, review and coordinate tour applications, process payments, operate accounts, keep the site secure, understand which pages are useful, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are delivered by email to BridgingChina. Tour applications are shared with the team that reviews and runs the program. We also use service providers for website hosting, account and application storage, email delivery, payment processing, image delivery, and analytics. They process information only as needed to provide those services.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our guests and team, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect accounts, and measure site traffic. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking them may affect sign-in and checkout.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry, application, payment, and account records for as long as we need them to respond, deliver a tour, keep financial records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time after you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. We may need to keep some records for billing, security, or legal reasons. Email monica@agivilla.com or send a note through the enquiry form.

Children

This website is for a professional audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We will update this page and the effective date when the policy changes in a material way.
