Luo Jianlan graduated from Wuhan University of Technology with a bachelor's degree and later obtained his Ph.D. from Berkeley. He began collaborating with the Calculation Center team in early 2025 and officially joined Calculation Center in April of the same year as the chief scientist. He also led the establishment of the Calculation Center Embodied Intelligence Research Center, which is responsible for the research and engineering implementation of cutting-edge algorithms, with a focus on embodied brain and cerebellum, spatial intelligence, world models and real-machine reinforcement learning.
