Overview
Shenzhen Tech Tour September 2026 is a curated 6-day immersion into the ecosystems powering China's next wave of embodied AI, robotics and hardware innovation. Anchored by full-day access to GEIA 2026 — the Global Embodied Intelligence and Humanoid Asia conference — the program moves from main-stage keynotes to parallel deep-dives, private company visits, supply-chain walkthroughs and hands-on exploration of the markets and institutions that make Shenzhen the world's hardware capital.
Led by Monica Wang, founder of AGI Villa, this tour is designed for global founders, investors, executives and operators who want more than a trade-show badge. You will meet the builders, see the factories, understand the supply chains and form the relationships that turn market intelligence into real opportunity.
Your Guide
Monica Wang brings over 15 years of operating experience across 60 countries, with CEO, CMO and Partner roles spanning AI, e-commerce, Web3 and consumer internet. Her ventures are backed by Sequoia Capital, Legend Capital, Sinovation Ventures, GGV Capital and Linear Venture.
As the day-to-day leader of AGI Villa, Monica personally curates GO SUMMIT — the flagship gathering where Chinese founders and global ecosystems meet as equals. She is the connective tissue between the world's investors, operators and corporates and the next wave of Chinese AI and tech builders.
In 2025, Monica was invited to speak at Harvard University on innovation and education in the AI era. She writes, podcasts and speaks in both English and Mandarin on the craft of building and scaling AI and tech startups across borders.

Program
Arrive in Shenzhen and settle in with a welcome dinner at one of the city's famous 100+ dish hotpot restaurants — the perfect introduction to China's culinary culture and your fellow travelers.
Spend a full day at GEIA Great Bay Area 2026, meeting the companies and founders building China's next generation of humanoid robots, embodied AI models and intelligent hardware. Go beyond product demos to understand the full embodied intelligence stack — from AI models and robot brains to hardware, manufacturing and commercialization.
Go deeper into China's embodied intelligence ecosystem through GEIA's parallel forums and targeted meetings with companies across the robotics value chain. See how China's robotics ecosystem moves from research to commercialization — connecting models, data, components, manufacturing, supply chains and real-world applications in one place.
Step inside leading robotics companies in Shenzhen for a closer look at how embodied intelligence moves from R&D to real-world products — and how China's hardware and manufacturing ecosystem makes rapid iteration possible. Move beyond the exhibition floor and into the companies themselves.
Explore the infrastructure behind Shenzhen's hardware innovation ecosystem — from rapid prototyping and maker culture to the institutions that have helped create some of China's most successful hardware companies. Understand why Shenzhen can turn an idea into a physical product faster than almost anywhere else.
End the tour at Huaqiangbei, the legendary electronics district at the heart of Shenzhen's hardware ecosystem, where components, prototypes, robots and suppliers exist within walking distance of one another. See the physical infrastructure behind 'Shenzhen speed' — where a hardware idea can go from component sourcing to prototype and manufacturing within the same ecosystem.
